Cera Master® Tabs metal sustainers with a base size of 20 mm, a neck height of 6 mm and a hole of 3 mm are a convenient choice that can be used with most wick sizes. They are made of tin-plated steel to resist corrosion from essential oils and fragrances, as well as the heat generated by the burning candle.

These carefully designed wick sustainers provide a secure hold for your wicks to the vessel and contribute to the overall stability and balance of your candles. The round design promotes even heat distribution and offers convenience for better centering of the wick.

To install the wick into the sustainer, insert the end of the wick through the hole in the base of the sustainer and squeeze the neck of the sustainer firmly with pliers to secure it. This way, the wick is clamped in the sustainer, preventing it from being removed.

If the wicks you install in the sustainer have a factory "orientation" (the direction in which the melted wax moves more easily towards the flame), pass through the base of the sustainer first that part of the wick that should be at the top of the candle.

The sustainer is fixed to the bottom of the container using double-sided adhesive pads with a diameter of 20 mm (sold separately), which prevents it from moving or floating during the candle making process or while it is burning.

The Cera Master® Tabs wick sustainers are suitable for Cera Master® Glow wicks, as well as for all other wicks with a thickness of up to 3 mm.

Tip: Always choose the appropriate sustainer  (and wick) size, consistent with the material of the container in which the candles will be poured. This will minimize the likelihood of unpleasant (and sometimes fire-hazardous) situations caused by overheating and bursting of the container during burning.
