Container wax
Waxes that are intended for making candles in containers (such as glass and metal cups, jars, plaster and concrete molds, ceramic dishes, metal cans and polycarbonate containers) are distinguished by their softness, low melting point and perfect adhesion to the walls of the container.
Pillar Wax
A characteristic of vegetable wax blends intended for making candles in molds is that they have a higher melting point and a certain percentage of shrinkage during the cooling process. The shrinkage is designed so that the candles can be easily removed from the mold, without disturbing their appearance.
Despite their hardness, wax blends based entirely on vegetable raw materials are not designed and cannot be used for casting shapes with small and thin details (such as flowers, for example), which can break during the process of removing the casting from the mold.
Whip Wax
For the production of the so-called wax cream, all waxes that are designed for container candles can be used. The softness and low melting point of these waxes are suitable for use by whipping under certain conditions. Each specific wax blend (such as material and manufacturer) has a specific temperature at which it is whipped. The advice is therefore to make comparative tests that will give clarity to which specific mixture will suit your skills and desires.
