And why a wooden wick?
Because it's beautiful!

Many people believe that after the advent of the wooden wick, the era of the cotton wick is already at an end...
However, this is not the case, and any serious candle maker will answer this.
The reason, as always, is simple - to make a quality candle, many tests are needed to determine which particular wick or combination is suitable for the given purpose.

Whether using a cotton or wooden wick, the magic is in the right proportions.

Both the cotton wick and the wooden wick have a single purpose - to create the starting ignition of the candle, and after the wax melts, to serve as a conductor for your wax to burn.

These two conditions are generally covered as follows:
- in the case of the cotton wick, these are the number of threads, the way they are braided and the tightness of the braid.
- in the wooden wick, this role is played by the thickness, width and density of the wood used.
